Legalize is always working on new ways to help Americans speak out to legalize marijuana. People aren't interested in abstract political arguments and pay zero attention to City Hall demonstrations. But hearing their friends, family, co-workers and fellow citizens simply say "legalize" has enormous impact on their opinion.

Legalize provides its visitors with small but concrete actions that are both easy and quick to complete. The work of one is multiplied by one thousand and something important is accomplished.

The following are actions that do more than simply help the cause -- they help build our corps of Legalize activists. Legalize already has over 1000 Members. There is no reason why we can't grow to 10,000 or even 100,000 Members, all helping to spread the word: Legalize^®.

Although a majority of Legalize visitors find the site by word-of-mouth, Yahoo! accounts for two-thirds of visits from search engines and links. Each Yahoo! listing brings Legalize about 10 new visitors a day.

Yahoo! Member Page listings also raise the awareness of the average Surfer who may read the link without visiting it. And once hundreds of Members are listed, the majority of Yahoo! searches will return Members' listings and the collective effort will be recognized. Of course, perhaps the best reason to list your Member Page is to increase traffic to your own page.

WHAT TO DO: Please complete the following three easy steps:

1. Go to the Yahoo! category you wish for your page to appear on. We recommend the Personal Home Pages category.
2. Click on the Suggest a Site link on the bottom of the Yahoo! page. Click on the Proceed to Step One button that appears on the new page.
3. Fill out all the information that you are asked. Please be sure your site title matches the format YourName says Legalize. You can leave all questions blank after the first step, except for contact information. Please use your own name and e-mail address as the contact.

COMPLETION TIME: Approximately three minutes.

High Times is the most respected and widely read source of information concerning the pro-marijuana movement. (Legalize strongly opposes the magazine's position on hard drugs, but to each their own.) The "Hemp 100" is High Times' monthly listing of cool slogans, jokes, bands, Web sites and whatever else that is mailed in by their readers.

Please remember to vote every month, and you may vote as often as once a day.
